Jackie was amazing when we asked her to design our wedding cake. We have never had a custom cake made before but she took us through everything step by step. She is extremely knowledgeable and made our ideas come to life. She kept us up to date with all the information we needed to know and personally brought the cake down to our venue for us. Anyone can tell Jackie is passionate about her work and loves what she does. We couldn’t have been happier, and highly recommend her to everyone. Thank you so much Jackie, you are one in a million! X

I live in Australia and had a surprise wedding in the UK, We contacted Cakes and Drapes to create a very unique topper for our celebrations, with very little direction, they created a perfect topper for our cake, a pleasure to deal with and fantastic work. I can’t recommend Cakes & Drapes enough. We had so much fun meeting with Jackie to plan our wedding cake and she managed to incorporate so many of the little personal touches we talked about in our meeting. The finished result was really special and the chocolate orange cake was a huge hit. We loved the cake topper figurines- Jackie put so much attention to detail into them- even down to the bridal jewellery and the groom’s buttonhole and we love that we get to keep them forever. I didn’t realise planning my wedding cake would be this much fun!

I met Jackie at the Landmark Arts centre wedding show and was really impressed with her designs and taste samples and especially her toppers – which really are a work of art! I chose Jackie over the other cake suppliers at the show because she was the most warm and friendly and I felt at ease with her. The wedding cake was one of the most important parts of my wedding day as I love cake and I wanted to be able to remember it forever. Jackie certainly didn’t disappoint and our wedding cake looked and tasted amazing and far exceeded any expectations I had previously had. We absolutely loved our wedding cake. From the initial stages Jackie helped us design a cake which was different and captured exactly who we are as a couple. The cake was a real talking point on the day, with even the venue and suppliers commenting on how amazing it looked. The toppers were made to look like us and the finest detail (eg my hair slide) were created with perfection. As for the taste – amazing.

Jackie took a great deal of time to get to know us and we designed our perfect cake together. She is friendly, professional and a complete perfectionist. The cake was perfect visually and tasted delicious too and the sugar flowers she made matched my bouquet and the colour scheme perfectly. The specially made personalised toppers depicting the moment we met matched us in our wedding outfit. And they are a great memento to keep forever. 10 out of 10 on every level.

We absolutely loved our wedding cake. Jackie did an amazing job and it was just how we imagined it to look, we wanted it to match the theme of our wedding, with lots of coloured iced flowers, which looked really real. Our whole wedding party loved it too and tasted delicious. We had 4 tiers of different flavours to make it different (lemon, red velvet, baileys and chocolate). We recommend Cakes and Drapes to anyone and Jackie is such a lovely lady 🙂 xx

Jackie made the most beautiful cake for my daughter and her fiancée. Four tiers with antique lace design and amazingly life like roses and other flowers to match Laura’s bouquet. The cake was delicious too….moist and much admired and swiftly devoured by our guests.
