Is it really September? In some ways this year has been endless, in other ways it feels it’s hardly begun; certainly from the wedding cake point of view it really has hardly begun. I haven’t expressed my thoughts much during lockdown but can I do so now and send out my heartfelt sympathies to all of you who have had to postpone weddings (many more than once), it’s been a pretty stressful year for couples and suppliers alike. I do of course have everything crossed for you that’ come 2021′ we will start to live life again and celebrate in style; I for one can’t wait to get creative and make all the lovely designs I have on order.
I have however been lucky enough to be involved with three wonderful couples who have taken the plunge and embraced a Covid wedding, two in their garden and one in a hotel which included individually boxed cupcakes for guests who couldn’t attend. Huge congratulations to you all and very best wishes for the future.
